Sealants

Sealants

The sealants have the function of closing the space between the loading bay and the means of transport in order not to compromise the cold chain during loading and unloading operations.

  • PATELLA SEALANT: the flap sealants consist of a self-supporting pantograph steel structure covered with a perimeter sheet and composed of frontal flaps in black rubber or rigid PVC; they are the best known and used in the operations of loading and unloading goods.
  • CUSHION SEALANT: the cushion sealants consist of a self-supporting steel structure and a perimeter sheet, they differ from the flap sealants for the polyurethane foam cushions installed in place of the rubber fronts that allow the vehicle to rest on of these thanks also to the possibility of adjusting the height of the upper cushion.
  • INFLATABLE SEALANT: created to overcome some loading and unloading problems where heat dispersion must be avoided to a minimum, this type of sealant swells by wrapping the sides and roof of the vehicle. At the end of the loading or unloading operations, by operating a remote control, in a few seconds, the sealants swell and return to their initial conformation. The sealing cushions are able to guarantee thermal insulation such as to keep the temperature of the internal warehouse unchanged, a quality that makes them the most popular for cold storage at low temperatures.
  • RETRACTABLE TUNNEL: the retractable tunnel has been designed to withstand the most disruptive moorings of vehicles but also to be able to solve problems of space, handling and management of goods. Consisting of a "retractable" steel structure of the pantograph type and perimeter sheet, they are able to seal the atmosphere between the vehicle and the adjacent shed. Thanks also to the rainwater collection channel located on the sealing roof and with side discharge, we are able to avoid unpleasant inconveniences to the operators who carry out the loading and unloading.
